What's the most tedious part of making pop up cards?  I'm sure many of you would agree with me, but it's cutting all the pieces out.  The fun part is assembling the card and decorating it.  For many years, I cut the cards out by hand, with an X-acto knife.  Sometimes I would get blisters on my fingers.  Then I bought myself a cutting machine (Silhouette Cameo), which made my life a lot easier.  A cutting machine can cost a lot of money, and I can justify buying one because I make a a lot of cards, but many of you may only make a few cards a  year.  If you want to make a pop-up card but don't want to spend a lot of time cutting the pieces out, or buying 3-5 sheets of different colored card stock, then a pre-cut popup card kit is perfect for you.

Since Christmas is coming around the corner, we have chosen to offer a pre-cut kit for the Magical Snowman pop up card.   We've received a lot of positive feedback from people who have already made this card.  This card is unique because it moves as you open it.  When you open the card, the child puts the magical hat on the snowman.  Here's a description of the card: Magical Snowman popup card.

In the past few months, we searched for a vendor that could cut all of these small intricate parts.  Finally we found someone who could make the pieces with the quality that we wanted.  In order to get clean cuts, the card was cut using a high power laser.  This produced very precise cuts that look better than the cuts from my cutting machine.  The quality of the card stock was great, and some pieces even had a sparkly coating.  Here is a picture of what the pre-cut package looks like next to a finished card:

The package contains the following items:
