26 Aug Birthday Pop Up Card: Simple Cupcake
Some of my friends are having birthdays and since I have very few birthday popup cards, I decided to make another one. Birthday cakes are very common, so I decided to make a birthday cupcake. Cupcakes have been very popular these days. I have yet to go to Sprinkles. These cupcake stores seem to be spreading all over the place. I've even seen a cupcake truck. This version is pretty easy to make and doesn't require cutting with a knife. Only a scissors, glue and tape are needed. Here's what the card looks like:
Here is a video of the card.
This version is a little more scrapbooky (not sure if that's a word), meaning you need to cut parts out of different colored paper and glue them on. Most of my cards tend to be cut out of a single card stock, which is similar to Masahiro Chatani's style.
This card can be made with one sheet, but if you want to add color, you'll need to cut out additional pieces and glue them on. I will make 2 versions of this card. The second one will be more for those of you who have cutting machines.
